I have written this book in response to the requests from my colleagues in the profession to help address the learner's needs regarding the CHED-required subject titled Financial Accounting and Reporting.

This book is about the fundamentals of Financial Accounting and Reporting. It discusses the basic concepts that underlie the recording, classifying and summarizing of accounting information.

The first ten chapters of this book relate to the accounting for sole proprietorship business. The last six chapters introduce the basic concepts in the accounting for partnership and corporate businesses.

As with all the books that I have written and co-written so far, the book is a labor of love and it is dedicated to you, my dear reader.
