Abstract
Essentials of business ethics was written to inform and stimulate thinking on issues of ethics encountered in business. The book is intended to prepare students to recognize and manage ethical issues as they arise, and to help them formulate their own standards of integrity and professionalism. The overall course objectives are to increase awareness of the ethical dimensions and responsibilities of students in their future careers, to develop analytical skills for identifying and resolving ethical and social responsibility issues in business, and to practice ethical decision making, particularly the much-needed moral standards that would strengthen their personal and organizational behaviors in business.

Since business ethics teaches understanding through the daily activities of life, there is a need for a book that is simple, clear and readable based on the philosophy of ethics as practices by individuals in the business world.

In preparing this book, the author has been helped in many ways by people worked in making business ethics an important subject of study. The author is greatly indebted and grateful to his colleagues and friends who encouraged him to prepare this book contributed valuable comments on some of the chapters.

In spite of the efforts of the author to exercise great care in undertaking this venture, his work may fall short of hid high inspiration. The author would be grateful in any of his readers would call their attention to some errors and obscurities that they encountered at the following email address: jessiefrias_sergote@yahoo.com or jcfriser@gmail.com
