Business law 

Volume 1 covers the discussion of the principles on what may be referred to as the "traditional business law subjects," namely, obligations and contracts, sales, Pledge, mortgage and Antichresis, and Partnerships, all of which are provided in the Civil Code of the Philippines, and Private corporations, which are covered by the provisions of the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines that has since become effective on February 23, 2019 after the release of the previous edition.

This edition retains the previous format which presents the discussions of the law in outline form, with the text streamlined and some topics rearranged to achieve the maximum benefit to the user. It incorporates recent jurisprudence relevant to the topics covered as well as additional illustrations and examples, for the student's greater understanding of the law. The diagnostic exercises have been broadened with the inclusion of additional questions and are presented, together with the answer thereto, at the conclusion of the discussin for each of the main subjects.
